About the Authors
Pam Neal is a native of Los Angeles. She discovered climbing while staying at Camp 4 in Yosemite. Pam loves finding and establishing great new sport routes with her co-author Ben Chapman. It's inspiring to think of this mother of two and fourth-grade teacher, with a drill and crowbar in hand.
Ben Chapman is a seasoned climber, having initially found his footing on mountain expeditions. He discovered his love for establishing new trad lines in the southern Sierra, where he set his anchors by hand. Things are a bit calmer now for this Southern California teacher, as he spends his weekends with a cordless drill to aid in his bolting efforts.
