Sturdy and reliable, this Friends combines classic features with significant additions to create an intriguing blend of old and new. Its sleek exterior and striking design draw the eye to a number of smart improvements: The hollow shafts (patented) are stiffer yet lighter; the wide, tapered lobes grip better but are gentler on the rock; the new 12 mm Dyneema is agile and easily stretchable, saving time and the weight of having to use a quickdraw on each one. The internal components are based on Wild Country’s classic foundations: our legendary holding power and consistent fit between units, while the dual-shaft design has allowed us to increase the reach per unit.
