Designed for long-distance racing and fast-paced adventures, the Black Diamond Distance 4 Hydration Vest Gen 2 combines light weight, stability, and quick access to gear in a hydration vest built for moving fast in the mountains.
Its carry system, inspired by a running harness, uses a soft, stretchy material that extends from the sides to the back panel. Stretch mesh edging provides soft, comfortable contact, while the highly stretch side panels improve fit and help reduce bouncing while running.
For outings with poles, its over-the-shoulder Z-Pole carry system allows you to quickly stow or retrieve poles without interrupting your progress. The harness design also incorporates side pockets that are easy to access while moving.
At the front, two compartments hold the two included BD HydraPak® SoftFlasks™. A zippered chest pocket with key clip, a rear zippered security pocket, a lumbar pocket, and several small pockets make it easy to efficiently organize food, accessories, and other running essentials.
On lighter colorways, the design also helps limit heat absorption and improve visibility.
