Meteor Climbing Helmet by Petzl: Lightweight Protection for All Your Vertical Adventures

The Meteor helmet offers effective protection for climbing, mountaineering, and ski touring! Lightweight, compact, and equipped with excellent ventilation, it is comfortable in all seasons. Its shape offers better coverage for enhanced head protection and has been specially designed to be worn with ski goggles. Furthermore, the Meteor is the first helmet CE certified for ski touring (please note that this helmet does not meet the requirements of the EN 1077 standard for alpine skiing helmets).

Lightweight, low-profile, and ventilated helmet

• Size S/M weighs only 225 g and size M/L only 240 g.
• Streamlined design achieved through an In-Mold construction with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner injected into a lightweight polycarbonate shell.
• Large openings provide excellent air circulation.

Enhanced protection

• Designed in accordance with Petzl's TOP AND SIDE PROTECTION standard.
• Designed for optimal protection against lateral, frontal, and rear impacts.

Suitable for ski touring

• CE certified ski touring helmet.
• Optimal ventilation both uphill and downhill; the helmet can be worn comfortably from start to finish of an outing.
• The front of the helmet is specifically designed to be used with ski goggles.
• The rear elastic band is compatible with ski goggle straps.
• The semi-rigid headband can be easily adjusted, even with gloves.
• Two clips at the front and a rear elastic band to attach a headlamp to the helmet.
