Ropeman 2 Ascender - Wild Country

The Ropeman 2 ascender is a good alternative to prusiks or heavier ascenders. It is essentially an incomplete ascender until you attach a screw-lock carabiner to it. The latter acts as a column on which the cam presses the rope. This version features forged side plates and an aluminum cam; it is slightly lighter than previous versions and ensures smooth operation with various types of carabiners and thin ropes.
