Bar Carabiner Accessory by Petzl: Removable positioning bar for ATTACHE SCREW-LOCK carabiner

The Positioning Bar (Bar) is removable and installs on the ATTACHE carabiner to prevent cross-loading. It orients the carabiner to load the major axis when used for belaying or glacier travel. It offers more comfort and increased safety when in the closed position as it prevents the carabiner gate from accidentally unlocking.

Description

• Orients the ATTACHE carabiner to load the major axis in a unidirectional manner during belaying or glacier travel.
• The Bar cannot be closed if the gate is not fully locked, thus limiting the risk of user error.
• The carabiner gate cannot be accidentally unlocked when the Bar is installed in the closed position.
• The Bar is compatible with the current ATTACHE SCREW-LOCK carabiner (M038AA00/M038AA01), as well as the previous ATTACHE (M38A SL).
