About the Authors

  • Bob D’Antonio, a climber since the 1970s, is a prolific route developer originally from Philadelphia, who has significantly contributed to many climbing sites in Colorado, including the Garden of the Gods and Shelf Road.
  • Jeff Achey, having spent his early years climbing in the Boulder area, pursued a career as a climbing writer. He lives with his wife Amber Johnstone in western Colorado.
  • Adam Brink, with more than two decades of climbing and guiding experience in Boulder Canyon, lives in Boulder with his wife Jessica Jaret and their two children.
  • Peter Beal, bouldering in the canyon for over a decade, juggles climbing, his work as an art history professor, and his artistic passions.
